Item Details

A vintage Tasco 15TE-5 600 power refractor telescope with tripod stand. The telescope comes housed in a pine wooden box with a black metal carrying handle on each end. Included is the original manual and a book entitled ‘A Key to worlds beyond – Telescope Manual for beginning astronomers.’ The telescope has some of the following features:
Aperture – 76mm
Focal Length – 1200mm
Light Gathering Power for Naked Eye – 118x
Resolving Power with Respect to Double Stars – 1.5’
Faintest Discernible Stars – 11.2m
The front of the carrying box is marked ‘Tasco 76.2mm Telescope 600x 192x 120x Reg.510600.’

Condition

The pine carrying box has some scratches. There may be some missing pieces .
