Artisan-Made Cedar Bench Chest

Item Details

An artisan-made cedar bench chest with mortise and tenon construction. Features scalloped detailing along the sides and to the top of the bench. A unique feature are the symmetrical handles on either side of bench. The bench seat lifts on hinges to reveal an open storage compartment.

Condition

- good, some wear and dings to the top. Hinges are in working condition, a musty smell comes from the storage compartment, may need to be cleaned. Condition consistent with age and use.
