1960s Chicago Cubs Bobble Head
Item Details
An adorable 1960s Chicago Cubs mascot bobble head is the highlight of this lot. This little guy is made of plaster compost; all baseball bobble heads from this era were made in Japan by the Sports Specialities. There is a paper label on the bottom. The bear is wearing the home white uniform with a blue hat; the red ‘C’ is on the cap and the jersey has the Cubs decal. The bear is holding a baseball in one hand (not a paw) and the other hand has a baseball glove. The bear is standing on a round gold base; ‘Chicago’ adorns the front of the base.
Condition
- small part of the Cubs decal is gone
- crack in the plaster at the back of the head; on top of the cap/small chip out of the ears
