Steinway Medium Grand Piano

A Steinway and Sons medium grand piano and chair. This M series piano, serial number 289253, indicates a manufacture year around 1937. The piano has a beautiful deep, rich mahogany finish on mahogany wood. The interior plate is inscribed with a personal dedication and signed by Theodore E. Steinway, who led the company as president from 1927 until his retirement in 1955. Included is a custom covered piano chair with a straight crest rail and harp back splat. The upholstered cushion is a rainbow of red, green, blue, and yellow with scroll shaped overstitching.
