Pair of Victorian Reproduction Marble Top Lyre End Tables
Item Details
A pair of Victorian reproduction lyre end tables with Carrera marble tops. The matched pair of mahogany tables both have an unattached square cut white Italian marble slab top with ogee bevel sides. The dovetailed drawer has a routered cartouche cutout on the face with an applied carved wood rose. These two tables, circa the 1940s, have the classic lyre pedestal mounted on a chamfered rectangular base, which stands on four modernized cabriole feet. Both tables are stamped in the drawer ‘Pelham, Shell & Leckie – Montgomery, Alabama.’
