Item Details

A Maddox Table Company mahogany federal desk. The top sides have a slight wave, with an ogee-bullnose edge. The sides and back are solid with a simple frame, and the front corners have railing detail. There are four drawers on each side (three large and one small), and a center drawer, all nine of which have a brass twist bail pull. The design of the bottom reflects that of the top, resting atop pedestal corner feet. The six large drawers have an inner measurement of 10×19×5, the two small drawers of 10×19×2.5, and the center drawer of 20×19×2.5. The center leg space is 21’ wide and 24.5’ high. Some wearing, nicks, and scratches in keeping with use and age.
