An original watercolor on paper maritime painting by listed British artist Alan Whitefield (1952-). This moody scene depicts a simple fishing boat docked along an English shore. Moss hangs from the ship’s ropes and the sky glows an eerie green, giving the scene a ghostly ambiance. The painting is signed by the artist in watercolor in the lower right corner.
