A reproduction of a Confederate fifty dollar bill. The original date commissioned was in Richmond, Virginia, February 17th, 1864. The identifying number, 72104, is a known reproduction number. The portrait of President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis is in the center. The backside features ‘Fifty’ in blue ink, reproduced from the original fifty dollar bills of the time. Back is marked ‘facsimile’ to lower left-hand side.
