Hand-Painted Porcelain Teacup Set
Item Details
A set of six teacups with saucers and six bread and butter plates. The teacup and saucers are Bavarian porcelain while the bread/butter plates are mostly Hutschenreuther Selb porcelain. The porcelain was bought blank and taken home and hand-painted by the owner. The artist signed these AV for Alice Venn and she worked on these from 1915-1920. The cup matches its and saucer, but none of the bread/butter plates match – not a single pattern was duplicated. The patterns do include flowers and gilt trims.
