Vintage French Provincial Sofa with Velvet Tapestry Upholstery

A French provincial style sofa with Italian cut velvet upholstery in tones of rose and ivory. The rolled arms are of equal height to the straight back, and the single long down-filled seat cushion is unzippered. Nailhead trim finishes the point where upholstery meets carved wooden frame that has eight cabriole legs and a cream color antiqued finish. (Note that this furniture is on the 6th floor and will need to be removed from premises via freight elevator. Winning bidder is asked to please make appropriate arrangements or bring appropriate help for pickup.)

Condition

A few nicks to wood frame. A well-executed seam is visible on sofa back and cushion, with expertly matched pattern.
