Vintage Moen Tugboat Model

A vintage model of the tugboat ‘Peter F. Moran.’ This electrically powered model was made in the 1950’s by the Moen Model Company. The motor is located under the cabin which is easily lifted off. Requires 4 D batteries. Model has plastic discs that automatically control the rudder for different courses of turns in the water. Unable to test motor to see if it is still working. Search light also connects to battery and may light up. Rope cleat on ‘port’ side of vessel missing.

Condition

Wear consistent with age. Unable to test internal electric motor. May have had hatch over rear deck. No longer there.
