Pair of Vintage Thai Temple Rubbings
Item Details
A pair of vintage Thai temple rubbings made with acrylic-like chalk on rice paper. The first depicts a topless woman carrying baskets of food near an ornate building. It is matted in gray and presented behind glass in a silver-toned textured frame. The second depicts three ornately dressed figures seated and playing traditional instruments. It is matted in navy and presented behind glass in a black frame with gilt fronting. Wires are attached to the verso of each for framing. Condition
-light surface damage across glass and frame of each. First print has slipped slightly inside frame, revealing back covering and areas of yellowing.
