A watercolor and ink painting titled New England Vessels At Valcour Bay on October, 1777. The painting depicts the vessels involved in the Battle of Valcour Bay on Lake Champlain, with a ship legend below. Vessels include the Spitfire, Congress, Lee. Royal Savage, Liberty, and others. This battle is considered one of the first naval battles of the American Revolutionary War. Painting is mounted under glass in a charcoal and brown resin frame. Framed by Corners, Fairfield, Connecticut. A similar work God Bless our Armes is housed in the Fort Ticonderoga Museum, attributed to a C. Randle.
