Charles R. Sligh Desk

A Charles R. Sligh vintage walnut desk. The walnut desk has a beveled top with rounded corners, a center drawer, five other single drawers, a file cabinet drawer, a pull-out work tray, and a top left drawer that folds down to become another work space, and ogee bracket feet. The drawers have machine dovetailed joints to the front and Hepplewhite style stamped brass drawer ovals with bail pulls. The center drawer has a brass tag with ‘Charles R. Sligh Company, Furniture By Sligh (trademark), Holland Michigan.’ This is a nice well made desk for a home office with nice work space and storage. The desk comes with a glass top made especially to protect the desk top surface.

Condition

The desk is in good condition for its age with only some scrapes and wear to the finish. There are no structural issues.
