Item Details

An antique black lacquer tiered box wedding basket with mother of pearl inlay. The wedding basket features three tiered cylindrical box with the top tier compartmentalized by a tray insert. The cover is inlaid with mother of pearl phoenix encircled around a Chinese shou character. The scalloped sides have floral motif inlays.

Condition

slight crack in handle, consistent with age and use.
