A pair of double signed prints by well-known Kentucky artist C. Don Ensor. Ensor has a realistic style and is known for depicting iconic Kentucky images as well as everyday object still lifes. The first print is titled Golden Rule Days and features a scattering of everyday objects that would have been at home in a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse; a bell, a slate, a golden apple, and more. This print has a signature in plate, as well as two handwritten signatures, one with a personalized message stating ‘Best Wishes’. The print measures 22.5×17′ to the matte, which is a warm beige with maroon trim. The frame is solid cherry-stained wood. The second print is titled Keepsakes, featuring a depiction of old-fashioned everyday items; a glass hurricane oil lamp, a fountain pen, eyeglasses, a locked diary, and more. An in-plate signature appears to the bottom right, along with two handwritten signatures, one with a personalized message stating ‘Best Wishes’. The print measures 17×23′ to the framed edge. The frame features an ornate carved look painted a gold tone.
