A limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a painting by contemporary Virginian artist Vernon Wooten, titled Hunt Country. This image is a classic example of the depictions of hunters that Wooten is best-known for. In this image, two hunters ride on the backs of horses across a vibrant green prairie dotted with rolling hills. Fall trees with a rainbow of leaves frame the hunters, and several dogs run around the horse’s feet. The original painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner, and this print is signed, titled and numbered 1543/2000 in pencil in the lower margin. The print is double-matted in forest green and burnt orange, and is presented behind glass in a simple wooden frame. A wire is attached to the verso for hanging.
