An incredible oil on canvas painting by listed artist Roy Allison. The artist has painted the pastoral kindling of love out to pasture. A young man stands with his forearm leaning on a fence post. His eyes peer furtively from underneath the brim of his straw hat at the young woman with which he is flirting. It would appear that both of them are wearing clogs, so one may presume the scene is taking place somewhere in Holland. The brush work is impeccable, and the portrayal of light is seamless and very true to life. This beautiful painting is presented in a wooden frame with grey paint and red borders.

Condition

Some very mild wear to the frame, and one small tear to the upper right section of the canvas.
