A handmade stoneware welcome sign bordered by a painted depiction of vintage golfers by Guy Buffet, dated 2001. Santa Barbara Ceramic Design was a popular manufacturer of art pottery items. It was founded in 1976 by Raymond Markow. Markow, who started the business in his garage, closed the business this year to ‘turn his attention to family and personal pursuits’ as he stated on his website.
