Vintage Harmony H1215 Archtop Guitar

A vintage Harmony model H1215 archtop guitar, circa 1960’s. This solid birch guitar has an arched top and arched back, a sunburst finish, and faux flame maple finish on the back and sides. The top has been grained to resemble spruce, has f-holes, and has a triple painted white binding. The neck is hard rock maple that has been grained and stained to resemble rosewood, and has a steel truss rod. The guitar has an adjustable bridge, nickel plated tailpiece, and bone nut. The open tuners are nickle with faux ivory knobs. The headstock has the Harmony logo in white, a treble clef and music line box in red, and ‘Steel Reinforced Neck, Made in USA’ in white. The guitar is missing its pickguard. The inside of the guitar is stamped with ‘2982H1215’. Comes with fiberboard case.
Condition
Good for its age. It has a 3" crack in the top above the bridge under the strings, but does not appear to go all of the way through the top. There are screw holes from the bracket that held the pickguard that is missing, one hole is on the face by the base of the neck, the other is on its underside. There is red tape residue/grit on the back of the neck around the 4th and 5th fret. The painted binding has many scratches, as well as other areas of the guitar. There is also a hole in the bottom of the guitar where the strap button was. The handle on the case is broken.
