An original oil on canvas abstract painting by Eugene Massin. This painting incorporates a series of squares and rectangles to create an abstract formation. Massin uses colors such as burnt orange and dark blue with light teal and small doses of red on a white canvas. He also creates texture and depth by putting a lacquer over some of the squares, seemingly at random. Work is signed by Massin to the bottom right and is presented in a thin gold toned frame. It also appears this painting may have been relined. Massin (1920-2003) originally from Texas, was an art professor at the University of Miami for three decades.
