Gunn Six-Piece Barrister Bookcase circa 1901

Item Details

A six-piece set barrister bookcase in dark oak by Gunn Furniture Co. The front glass panels pull up and slide in to the bookcase to provide access to the books. There are four sections with a top cap and a base. The first glass door appears to be the original lead glass seen in many Gunn Furniture. The back has the GRM (Grand Rapids, Michiagn) triangle logo sticker and it is stamped in red ‘11’ Gunn Sectional Bookcase Pat’d Dec. 5, 1899 Jan. 1, 1901 Manufactured by Gunn Furniture Co Grand Rapids, Michigan U.S.A.’

- fair; there are three glass door fronts missing
