Item Details

A pair of reproduction Victorian, German bisque figurines after Andrea by Sadak. The male and female figures are dressed in traditional costume with blouses and boots. The male figure has long blonde ringlets and a jaunty hat. He wears a waistcoat with embellished breeches. The female figure wears a bustled dress with apron and petticoat. She has a vest and lacy blouse, and carries a bowl of roses. She holds a bouquet of flower blossoms in one hand. Each figure is hand painted with gilt detail to the clothing, on round pedestals with blue floral decoration. The figures are unmarked.

Condition

The underside of the base of the female figure has a crack. The fingers of the left hand on the male figure are broken off.
