Antique Putz animals. Group includes a horse, sheep, cow, donkeys, deer, and cat. Traditionally placed under the Christmas tree in the late 1800s, these were commonly farm or nativity animals. Term ‘putz’ derived of putz to shine, butzin to decorate. Comprising of, sticks, glass, and composition. All are handpainted.
