A 1985 Ford chartreuse fire truck. This Ford fire truck has a Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine, Ford 8000 custom cab, 5-speed manual transmission, two battery electrical system, air brakes, 11,646 miles, and 31,000 GVWR. This firetruck is from Shakertown, Kentucky, and has decals for the town, as well as M.C.F.P.D. (Mercer County Fire and Police Department), and the number 13. The dash has an air pressure gauge, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, speedometer, tachometer, amperage meter, and oil pressure gauge. The cab seat is a black vinyl covered bench seat. The Pierce Company of Appleton, Wisconsin, customized the truck with all of the fire truck accessories. The Waterous Company, of South Saint Paul, Minnesota, manufactured the water pumps in the truck, and two maintenance and parts manuals are included for the pumps. The truck has ladder racks on the sides, and two hose reels and hoses on the top. The hose reels have mechanical retrieval. The truck has many compartments for equipment, and has chromed aluminum diamond plate decking over the sides and back. An operation and maintenance manual for the engine is included, and the truck has a new battery. Made in U.S.A.

Vehicles powers up and runs. The spotlight on the driver’s side is not attached but is included with the truck. Siren not connected. Gear shift must be held in the reverse position for reverse gear to engage.
