Mahogany Imperial Furniture Drop Leaf Coffee Table
Item Details
A mahogany drop-leaf coffee table by Imperial Furniture. This gorgeous table features a leather inlay top, a drawer with two bail handles, two drop leaves, saber legs with brass-capped feet, and a turned stretcher. The maker’s sticker inside the drawer indicates that the table is from c. 1939. The Grand Rapids, Michigan furniture company closed in 1954, when it was sold off to another company.
Condition
The table top has visible water marks and residue. The right leaf does not stay propped up. The left leg is cracked and loose, so it needs to be re-attached for the table to be sturdy.
