An original acrylic on canvas titled The Ancient Country by Shannon Girouard, created in 2005. The painting features large impasto fields of brown below pink. Where the two meet is a line of tiny tree with a thin layer of white representing the sun setting. The work is signed and dated in the lower right and to the verso with the title.
