A pair of Bavaria Schumann Arzberg Germany figural porcelain plates. Theses blue portrait plates each depict a beautiful voluptuous woman with long flowing hair on a scalloped edged plate with delicate gold tone rim detailing. Plates are stamped produced in the porcelain factory of Carl Schumann, located in Arzberg, Germany. The green mark includes a crown with finial over a shield with a rampant lion. ‘Bavaria’ is marked above and ‘Schumann Arzberg, Germany’ is marked below. This mark was used between 1960-70.
