Antique Herring-Hall-Marvin Co. Safe
Item Details
This is an antique Herring-Hall-Marvin Co. safe painted with red, gold and green paint scheme that is on 4 wheels. G.S. Scearce is printed above the door and the door is printed Herring-Hall-Marvin Co. with Hamilton, O printed below that. The front of the door has a beautiful floral motif underneath the handle and a yellow and red rose painted on the inside of the door. There is also a thin line of gold painted on each side framing the center. The inside of the safe has a wooden division running down the center with three shelves on the left side and the right side remains open. The Herring-Hall-Marvin Co only made safes from 1892 until 1959 when they were purchased by the Diebold Safe Company.

Condition
The safe is in good shape for its age and use, but there is no combination for the safe and on the inside there is not a key for the top shelf. Various parts of the outside part of the safe have begun to rust and there is a red mark along the right side of the safe. There is also some wooden residue on the top of the safe.
