An original abstract painting by Virginia Lee Williams. It features a pitted gray surface with soft touches of rust brown and heavy handed use of tar black. A stripe of aqua marine bisects the piece down the middle. The artist appears to have used plaster and paint to create different layers of texture that can be both seen and felt. The lower right corner bears the artist’s signature ‘VA LEE’ and circle mark. The reverse of the piece is hand-signed. It is set in a wooden frame.

Condition

The wooden frame has are few chipped areas and some wear. Some minor wear of the plaster on the bottom center of the piece.
