A Congreve rolling ball clock plated in 24k gold. The piece itself is constructed of solid brass and plated in 24k gold. The fusee movement can be viewed from the sides. The clock has three separate porcelain dials that depict the hours, minutes, and seconds. When running the table lowers side to side by the movement of a ball bearing. The entire clock is housed in a glass and gold plated display case that sits on a walnut stand, a delicate floral pattern carved into the sides. The drawer in the front has a brass pull that stores the key.
