A Mexican folk art Horned Owl costume. It features a hand-carved and painted wooden owl mask with an accompanying robe covered in small wooden owl heads. The mask is painted with a background of warm colors, large human eyes, and stylized feathers. Twine holds the smaller owls to the fabric. The robe features a mural of an owl. Per owner, this was originally purchased in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
