New Haven Co. Banjo Wall Clock
Item Details
A New Haven Company banjo wall clock, circa 1920s-1930s. The clock is comprised of a mahogany wood frame, a round clock face, elongated central column with a glass plated screen print and a lower hinged door with a photo offset ship. The clock face features a brass and glass hinged door, paper clock face labelled ‘New Haven’ and hour and minute openwork hands. To the top is a gold tone metal eagle finial and flanking pierced detail along the sides. Pendulum included, but not the winding key.
Condition
- the clock chimed when manually turned, but its function could not be determined at the time of cataloging. Tarnish to metal. Key is not included.
