1970s Paul Bunyan Dining Set
Item Details
A 1978 Paul Bunyan dining set including a table and five chairs, one captain’s chair and four side chairs. The ‘Carrie Bunyan’ chairs have retro patterned upholstered box seats in orange, yellow and red tones. The table is a ‘Blue Ox Oval Table’ with two removable aproned leaves and concealed ball casters for easy movement. The set is made of tall timber pine solids and veneers protected by lacquer coating. The table and chairs were made by Singer Furniture Company in Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
The caster rails need grease. The back legs of two of the chairs have pieces of wood missing, both are present but need to be reattached. The cushions need to be cleaned.
Dimensions
The table was measured with both leaves. The chairs are 21 × 48.5 × 22 inches.
