Item Details

A signed five panel ash framed screen by Emile Norman, signed to upper right end panel. Each panel has three divisions of a poured resin over natural specimens of various leaves and butterflies. Circa 1970s. Norman (1918-2009) was a self-taught California artist, known for acquiring his inspiration from nature. His story was featured in a PBS documentary, which aired in June 2011 and was titled Emile Norman – By His Own Design.
