Item Details

A signed original mixed media, oil and watercolor on paper. This work depicts the form of a woman to the left facing the form of a man, both with drips of paint falling from their skin, standing on an abstract ground rendered in hues of blue. There is a fiery inferno to the background creating a thick layer of smoke. The artist has carried over the inferno to the female, her head in flames with a black helmet to the top. This piece is signed ‘S. Legal 2007’ in pencil to the upper left-hand corner. The piece is set in a custom shadowbox frame, to a white background, under glass in a black frame.

Condition

- to very good, very small nick to the top of the frame.
