An original abstract acrylic on canvas painting titled Meditation I by listed Utah artist Hal Fielding (1928-2013). This expressive piece, reminiscent of the Abstract Expressionist painters of the mid-20th century, features several grainy blocks of color that fade into one another along a center seam in the image. This stunning painting was signed by the artist in the lower right corner, though it has since been lightly painted over with off-white paint to mimic the background. The artist, title, and measurements are written on the verso of the piece. This painting is housed in a beautifully crafted wooden shadow box frame. A wire is attached to the verso for easy hanging.

Condition

-light accretion has gathered on the surface of the piece, would be easily cleanable and the paint itself is housed behind a glaze.
