A Diana Hansen ‘Kachina’ 31/200 framed aquatint etching. The imagery depicts Native American and southwestern-inspired colorscapes, rituals, imagery and symbolism. The piece is printed on thick arches type paper ans is titled, numbered, signed ‘D. Hansen’, and dated ‘1978-13’ in pencil outside of the matrix. The piece is presented under glass in a white mat with a silver tone frame. Hansen (1942-) is an American-born artist, graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and studied under well-known printmaker Johnny Friedlaender. In the 1960’s she moved to Rome, where she has resided ever since.
