Vintage Carlo Tedeschi Oil on Canvas Forest Scene

Item Details

An original mid-20th century oil on canvas by Italian landscape painter Carlo Tedeschi. This beautiful painting depicts a river flowing through a forested area. Soft light leaks down from the clouds, bouncing off of the scattered trees and rocks and reflecting in the water’s gentle ripple. The artist signed C Tedeschi in the bottom right corner in white paint. The painting is presented in its original metal-plated hand-cast ornate frame with floral detail. A plate at the bottom center of the frame is engraved with the name ‘Tedeschi.’ The verso of the frame is stamped with the words ‘MADE IN USA,’ and includes a wire for easy hanging.

Condition

-very slight surface damage across painting and frame.
