Liang Kai Reproduction of Splashed Ink Painting "The Immortal"

A reproduction after the splashed ink scroll painting by famed Chinese artist Liang Kai, titled, Drunken Celestial, circa 13th century South Song Dynasty. The image depicts an immortal being who appears to be inebriated, sporting a confused countenance and loosely hanging, open robes that expose his chest and belly. Chinese characters occupy the top right corner of the print. Double-matted in cream and bold red tones, behind glass, and presented in a simple beveled wood frame with a black finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
Condition
- to fair. Condition consistent with age. Some foxing visible throughout image. Discoloration to paper and mats. Finish of frame is chipped and bruised along edges and corners.
