A Victorian Rococo Revival parlor set includes a settee and two chairs. The settee has a boldly curved back rail with inset upholstered back and carved, scrolled crest rail. The armrests are cushioned and have deeply scrolled stiles. the apron is curved, leading to cabriole legs with casters to the front and a single arched back leg. The chairs are ladies’ chair and gentleman’s chair. One is slightly wider and taller than the other, with a higher seat. Both have balloon backs with scrolled, carved detail to the sides of the back rail, leading to scrolled supports to the rear of the chair. The chairs each have a carved diamond design at the knees and rest on cabriole legs with casters to the front and arched back legs. The set is upholstered in a tone-on-tone floral fabric, front and back.
