Pencil-Signed Bicknell Etching of Lincoln
Item Details
A pencil-signed etching by Wm. H. Bicknell (American, 1860-1947), of a beardless Abraham Lincoln, dressed formally with black jacket and tucked white shirt. The etching, which was issued as a private plate exclusively for members of the Bibliophile Society, is pencil-signed to the lower right margin and also etched in signature to the lower margin. The piece is displayed under glass in a white matte and mahogany tone wood frame.
