A lithograph of the city of Maysville, Kentucky, commissioned by Browning Manufacturing and painted by artist Doug Adams. The lithograph of the original watercolor has the soft, muted qualities of an original, showing the bridge in Maysville with soft, blue-green hills to the background and the quaint city nestled into the rolling hills. Doug Adams is a noted Eastern Kentucky watercolorist and sculptor. He served as full-time art instructor for Morehead State University for fifteen years, and is a past president of the Kentucky Art Education Association. He has been awarded numerous prestigious awards during his career and holds holds memberships in the Southern Watercolor Society, Kentucky Heritage Artists, Kentucky Watercolor Society and Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. The image is unusually matted; the image is circular and has a lovely blue initial mat surrounded by an ivory mat; housed in a square, gold-toned frame and ready to hang.
