1920s Jacobean Style Dining Table and Six Chairs
Item Details
A 1920s Jacobean style dining table and six chairs with walnut veneers. The table offers a beveled edge with angled corners, braided apron, thick legs with turned and fluted carvings and two center leg supports with curved stretchers to each side; includes one table leaf. The chairs include one armed chair and five armless chairs with curved top rails, and splats with rattan to the top and oval with quatrefoil decoration to the bottom, turned and fluted legs and curved splat with carved accents. The upholstery is a bronze hue and features a tone-on-tone scroll pattern. Matching china cabinet listed separately as item 15CIN350-094; matching sideboard listed as item 095.
Condition
- to fair, nicks/wear/scratches to the top and leaf, armed chair has chipped veneer to the splat and broken rattan, one armless chair has broken rattan, some stains to the upholstery.
