A mahogany Duncan Phyfe styled dining table and six chairs, from Pogue’s of Cincinnati, Ohio. This lovely table rectangular drop-leaf table, features rounded corner, a ‘Watertown Slide’ table mechanism for leaf manageability, with a split pedestal base with center support legs, arched stretchers, and brass claw-capped legs; includes four additional 12’ table leaves. The six chairs, two armed and four side, feature an open scrolled back, arm chairs with curved scrolled arms, on slightly flared legs. The upholstered seats are covered in an orange and grown scalloped design. Most chair seats retain original labels from Pogue’s, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Condition
, good/fair condition, with some minor wood wear to leg on chairs and table, some light stains to seat fabric with light tobacco scent to fabric, a bungee cord is attached to underside of table (uncertain is for repair of additional strenght reinforcement) – recommend preview
