Charley Harper Serigraph

A limited edition and signed Charley Harper serigraph titled Painted Buntings, depicting a pair of painted buntings perched at the top of a palm leaf. Numbered in pencil 1273 in an edition of 1500, signed in pencil lower right. Presented under glass and mat and housed in contemporary black frame. Harper (1922-2007) was a beloved Cincinnati artist and conservationist, renowned for his minimal realism style. He was quoted as saying “I don’t try to put everything in, I try to leave everything out.” His work is delightfully laced with humor and sometimes includes short prose.
