“The Louisiana Alphabet” is the official alphabet of the state of Louisiana as designated by former governor, Edwin Edwards. This colorful poster, numbered 1020/2500 and signed to the lower right, was designed by artist Franco Allesandrini and features the alphabet in iconic Louisiana symbols, included crayfish, pelicans, alligators, oysters, frogs, turtles, snakes and tobasco sauce.
