Original 1920s Aquatint Etching with a la poupee

Item Details

A fine early twentieth century etching depicting the booksellers along the Seine River in the city of light, Paris , France. This etching features a solid delineation of tones applied the plate in aquatint. The plate has then been inked selectively with different colors in order to better describe the scene. This is a fine example of resourceful printmaking. Artist signed in pencil to bottom right and titled in pencil to back.
