A pair of reproduction Proctor and Gamble wooden crates. Included are a wooden Naphtha soap crate and Star Candle box. The illustration on the Naptha crate is a replica of a 1911 bar of P&G White Naphtha soap, which in 1920 was the largest selling soap in the world. The crate has dovetail construction to corners, a sliding lid, notched out lid and side handles and a walnut stained finish. The Star Candles box features Proctor & Gambles registered trademark of a moon and stars within a circle and a palm like frond which began appearing on their products in the 1850s. The box is made with nailed construction having a sliding lid and cut out side handles.
