An original abstract photo etching and aquatint by contemporary American artist, Rhonda Gushee, titled Prepped. Rhonda Gushee was a professor at the University of Cincinnati and the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and is known for her unusual sculptural works, photography, and printmaking. This particular work of art features a central etched image framed by a colorfield in tones of blues and greens. The abstract etching features a variety of textures, with a ring of circular shapes weighted to the lower half of the composition. Although this work is unsigned, it is identified by a gallery label to the verso. It has been float mounted in a black composite frame, protected behind acrylic glass.
Condition
- to fair. Print is in good condition. The frame has notable chips to the edges, and a surface scratch to the acrylic glass.
